III. UNeECC Student Workshop, 13-16 October 2010, Pécs, Hungary

The University Network of the European Capitals of Culture (UNeECC)
held its
III. UNeECC Student Workshop: ’Youth involvement: international students communication through ECoC Programme’
in Pécs, one of the European Capital of Culture in 2010.

The participants were leaders or representatives of UNeECC members' Student Associations from many countries all over Europe, from:

- University of Avignon, France
- University of Duisbug-Essen, Germany
- University of Basque Country, Spain
- Vesalius College, Belgium
- Vilnius Gediminas Technical University, Lithuania

Summary by the participants:

"To sum it all up, UNeECC’s student workshops are very useful for student representatives as it is a good platform for multicultural experiences, social networking, discussing ECoCs events, and participating in activities on an international level. Since we are the future generation of Europe, it is very important that work by the students is not forgotten and that these workshops continue. Even more, we are student leaders at our universities and use this opportunity to exchange ideas. We hope that our activities and exchange of information will have a positive impact on university campuses."
